DROPS Big Merino is wonderful, 100% extra fine merino wool yarn. Main characteristics to DROPS Big Merino are its softness, volume, elasticity and even result, which makes it ideal for knitting structured patterns such as cables.

The yarn is spun from fibers from free-range, mulesing free animals from South America and is Oeko-Tex Standard 100 certified.

DROPS Big Merino is spun from multiple thin strands, which gives the yarn extra elasticity. It is this special construction that makes it extra important to use the correct tension in your project, so use rather a tight tension than a loose one.

The yarn is also superwash treated and therefore machine washable and suitable for everyday use; but when washing your garments you must take extra care and follow the instructions detailed under "More info".
