Double knitting creates a thick, completely reversible fabric, which lends itself well to garments such as scarves as well as home decor pieces (no floats!).

In this 2hr class, you will learn all the techniques necessary for double knitting, including casting on, reading a colour work chart, casting off, and blocking. You may leave this class with either a completed coaster or choose to create a larger trivet, which you’ll be fully equipped to finish at home. Pattern is included.

Skill Level: Intermediate - basic knitting skills required for this class.

Supplies Needed:

one skein each of contrasting colours, 100% wool preferred. Briggs & Little Regal or Heritage is a terrific option
4.5 or 5mm straight or 24” circs (piece is knitted flat)
